Mitzi Jo Gordon is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and researcher.

Gordon centers collaboration, interactivity, and reclaimed materials in her work at every scale, from mixed media installations to social practice projects. She has served as a founding artist and curator of several public art projects, including the interactive SPACEcraft shipping container studios, the Carmada art car showcase, and the Bluebird Books Bus. 

Gordon’s primary 2024 clients include the Port Townsend Creative District (WA) and SHINE Mural Festival (FL). She is currently working on a series of essays about her experiences in social practice.
